Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained international fame for her role in Buffy Summers. In the famous cult film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played Rebecca Becky Granger. Being a native of California Swanson had a passion for acting as a young girl. She started her career in acting with a number of commercials. Her first appearance on TV was in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom from 1984. Her first big screen appearance came just two years later in the romantic drama Pretty in Pink. Swan gained notoriety for her lisp of blonde and her breathless voice. She's recently shifted from main roles to secondary characters. Flowers in the Attic won her the Young Artist Award in the category of Best Young Actress in Horror or Mystery Motion Picture in 1989.
